Community groups who have, in the past, suffered persecution and can face persecution today will be in the cathedral to talk with visitors about their experiences and the need for a wider acceptance of diversity in civilised communities. Local faith groups representing the Jewish and Islamic communities, the traveller community and those who have faced persecution because of their sexuality or disability are likely to be represented and come together to share their stories.
